Re: Rating Chip Question

''The point I’m trying to get across is using a phrase such as “worn” doesn’t tell you how worn the chip is. What worn to someone might not be for others? All chips can be considered worn unless they came off the table the 10 minutes after put into play. And a chip being clean or dirty can be been in the scan and the chip can be cleaned. And being clean or dirty doesn’t effect how worn the chip is.''

Ron, let's be sensible. Worn means it can't be read or is hardly readable. (or) the edges are rounded. -not sharp.

Who the heck cares if fingerprints are on a chip. If in question, post a scan. Don't create a big deal out of something we have all lived with for years.

To date, I have never, ever been misled by a condition of a chip from a fellow member chipper or board participant. I am also confident that if I was ever disappointed in a particular chip, I could return it without question. This has been my experience during the approxmidate 4 years of collecting.

Grade your own chips if you wish. That is your decision to make. Personally, I don't need it.

By the way, aside from my 2-bit LE's I also have some very very expensive chips and I feel the same way about both kinds.
