Hi Robert, in an attempt to answer some of your question. Let me first say that I’m also opposed to slabbing and putting our chips in sealed compartments and having a grade put on it. In response to different kind of manufacturing of chips, I would simple grade the chip as it relates to wear and tear only. I don’t care what kind of chip it is or what it’s made of. In my example of a shoebox, I would simple grade the item on the wear and tear of the box, even if it was made of plastic. And yes, I agree that using 10 words or less would describe the chip in better detail than a using numeric value, but that takes time to do. And providing a numeric number to a buyer, gives him or her a very good idea as to how worn the chip is not as good as 10 words but sufficient. And to answer the last question, I think I did, it’s easier to associate a value than to spend the time in describing the wear and tear of the chip. It’s getting late, and I have to go now, goodnight.
