Every point you make in favor of the number system and be turned around 180 degrees to make the same point for a narrative description. I prefer the narrative. That along with a picture of the actual chip is usually sufficient to tell if the chip is one I want in my collection. The numeric system will be interpreted differently by every individual regardless of the interpretation you have. Not saying I would not bid, just that I prefer and trust narrative descriptions more than any numerical system. Your intentions are good.
This goes right to the heart of the debate on grading (note I did not say slabbing debate) on which we can not seem to reach a consensus on terms. Hopefully this will be addressed by our new board and a standard agreed upon.
