Would this not also apply to books that use the images as well? Most, if not all, of the guides which we accept as being the main authorities for certain areas of chips, including your own excellent guide of AC chips, has images of a number of chips.

I assume that someone has checked that these do not infringe any trademark or copyright rules, and so wonder why this would not be the same as if someone used the images on other merchandise?
