Allan, I am sorry it just does not read like you would like it to. By having "Casino Chips & Gaming Tokens Collectors Club" and the club's recognized logo on that chip anyone looking at it will believe that is who is putting on that show.
I find it absolutely hard to swallow that the board of directors has put the OK to the use of the club logo on a commerically sponsored event.
In this day and age of sue happy people you better believe if someone trips over a box and breaks a leg at that show the CLUB will be sued for everything they have. The club name and club logo should NEVER be used on any commerical venture that the club is not directly involved in,
PERIOD.
The club has gone through this same thing several times in the past few years. One was in people using the logo on business cards, web sites and e-bay sales. That is why the stipulation was made that the individuals club member number had to be incorporated in the design by each member wanting to use the logo so it would be the responsibility of the member NOT the club if anything would arise from that use.
The chip is great BUT it should have it's own design NOT the club name and logo.
