Jim; Just a personal opinon ... but I believe that use of the club logo should be reserved for events that are only associated with club-sponsored events and activities and not for use for commercial enterprises without permission from the club officers.

If the on the other hand, club officers have granted permission through a Board vote for the use of the club logo in your case, (which I am unable to verify so far) then I have no problem.... as the current Board sets policy for current decision making. If on the other hand there was no Board vote taken for authorization, then I believe the use of the club logo is improper.

I know that you personally are a big supporter of the club and I commend you for your support and generosity with making table space available for promotion of the club and the slab free chapter. But I believe that the club officers should be more protective of "loaning" out the use of the club logo to commercial interests for privately run chip shows. It's a matter of precedent being set for other promoters of commercial shows to do likewise.
