This was defiantly a project of pure preservation of history for our hobby and a labor of love. There's no attempt to make any kind of money from it or lock features behind pay walls which was one of the biggest concerns from the sets community. If the mission is truly historic preservation and reference to hobbyists charging for it is adverse to the hobby in many ways.

The images and information gathered was from a great many sources across the wide expanse of information out there and compiled into one easy reference to keep our hobby honest, open, inviting and interesting.

I knew that folks would be put off by the fact that someone could build a better mouse trap and that's perfectly fine for those wanting to always be mad about something. I'm not a dealer, I'm not the guy whos looking for chips to flip or keep inventories a secret for the sole purpose of making money. I care about the history, I care about the hobby and want to share it the way the best way I can, many have contributed to this project, not just myself and I don't feel I or anyone else for that matter should worry about that or try and profit from what is preserving the history of these gaming artifacts. Me Me Me Mine Mine Mine is absolutely the wrong answer.

Our site is free, our references are free and you can do everything all in one place, Buy/Sell, reference, chat and most of all have fun which is what a hobby is supposed to be, FUN, not dramatic, not a place to put your keyboard armor on and do battle, it is supposed to be fun!

Is everyone going to be pissed when we host the 1st annual PokerChipper convention in 2027 in Las Vegas too??? after all everyone has stated that there isn't enough shows...... or is there some cornered market on casino collectible shows too?? PokerChipper is my journey through the hobby shared with the world through mine and many members of our community wealth of information and shared artifacts that some might never see much less own.

Interestingly PokerChipper.com Crossed over the 900 member mark just today..... all in just a few years.......
