Carlos, I think I figured it out.
In Response To: John- "Casino Chalet" Royat ()

I think the CC is the casino monogram on the obverse and the CI which is centrally located on the reverse directly under the denomination is that of the operator/group who ran the gambling operation and who is responsible for payment/redemption... and not the main casino... and the jetons/plaques were the property of that operator and not the main casino.

If this is the case; there must have been a strong bond/relationship between the casino and the group who ran the operation since it appears to have been spread over many years since the 5F jeton doesn't look like it was from the early years.
