Re: ROYAT CC / 100F CI en nacre (Casino Chalet?).

So far I do not find "CI" in France which is combined with CC and the city name of ROYAT.

I am more interested in knowing what the CI represents on both pieces and since I assume it is local to Royat, maybe we will find something showing it on some documents. It has to be on the jetons for good reason.

Regarding the fire at CASINO CHALET (which I foud was known as both "Chalet" and "The Chalet" by locals and tourists), does not mean there are no chips since, we do know chips walk. Anyone could have left the casino with chips in their pocket.

Right now the 100F nacre is in Germany. In 12 days it will be in Switzerland, where it will then be transported to me...

Maybe an oval 500F of rectangular 1000F nacre will pop up with some additional engraving (this sometimes happens)... I think there is a chance... and I think there is even a better chance that you will discover additional information...

I also sent some additional descriptions of Cercle de la Presse to ChipGuide. I added a 100F as well (verry common these days)... I will not submit the known images of eather since they are protected.

Fun hobby... grin

Similar to the initials in the windows
Here, in ChipGuide; Cercle de Royat Is a CR ~~~
...or why not even add this to the mix?

The CI mono; two separate shots.
Re: The CI mono; different as no CC......
Yes. Interesting. Several configurations exist.
Cercle International?
Possible...
The "I" could be "Impériale" and part of the name
Re: Not mine, obviously.
