Re: ROYAT CC / 100F CI en nacre (Casino Chalet?).

There were only two casinos in Royat, the Casino Municipal de Royat (also called Cercle and “Casino Chalet”).
The other casino, as I said in the previous post, was Casino Samie (owned by the Societé du Casino du Cercle de Royat) which also adopted the name Casino du Cercle de Royan (which caused legal conflicts with Casino de Royat (which also used the denomination Cercle du Casino de Royat)- Very similar and confusing.
CASINO SAMIE- 1884

KURSAAL DE ROYAT
At the Kursaal de Royat the gambling also worked.

Let me make some assumptions.

1-In this announcement of 1910 the Cercle and the Casino de Royat is to rent.
Could the rental company have used other initials ?? CC ??

2-Royat is an adjacent town of Chamalieres. Today it is commonly said Casino de Royat-Chamalieres The casino building was located on the border between the two locations (part of the building in Chamalieres). Could they have used CC (Cercle de Chamalieres ???)

BUT IT IS ALL CONJECTURES.

I will go on investigating.

My CR in ivory, who knows...
CR in pearl
Similar to the initials in the windows
Here, in ChipGuide; Cercle de Royat Is a CR ~~~
...or why not even add this to the mix?

The CI mono; two separate shots.
Re: The CI mono; different as no CC......
Yes. Interesting. Several configurations exist.
Cercle International?
Possible...
The "I" could be "Impériale" and part of the name
Re: Not mine, obviously.
