That opens up a whole can of worms
In Response To: How To Glue On A Inlay? ()

Most would consider re-gluing an inlay that fell off to be altering a chip, of the sort that Dave Whalen was accused of doing. So, my advice would be to refrain from gluing the inlay back on. Even though you know you glued it back on, and you may tell the next owner that you did so, but somewhere down the line, someone may sell the chip without disclosing the repair.
