I was at work with my wife and son. Her Mom called and said put on the TV. I said terrorists right away.

My son was a member of a Heavy Rescue Squad. His squad was called to the Trade Center shortly after it happened. They went as HazMat Techs. My wife was worried and said "I don't want him going there." I said "well you can't stop him."

A good friend of mine lost his sister on Flight 93 and just this week I found out through meeting a friend on Face Book his stepdad was also on that flight.
