Series 1923 was the last of the LARGE notes...
In Response To: these are my finds ()

... the next series 1928 went to the small sized notes we use today. The large notes are called "Horse Blankets", Saddle Blankets" and other nich names...

The Silver certificates that are in 'pristine' to UNCirculated condition are worth a little over face value. Mainly due to the numbers produced and the numbers still believed to be out (people saved a LOT of these). The notes that are well worn don't bring much but are still worth hanging on to.. if nothing more than a piece of history.
