He followed the rules, but I don't think this...

... was a coincidence. I SHOULD have gotten the note for $27, ONE bid increment above the next LEGITAMATE bidder. He cost me an extra $2 but I was already willing to go higher. I am happy with the price I got it for, but the auction appears to be 'manipulsted'. Also, the guy retracts a winning bid on an item that is worth what he bid. It's not like he looked up the note and said, "Oh-Oh I bid more than it's worth" and retracts. Or makes a typo on his bid. He WANTED me to UP my bid.... When I didn't he had to back up fast before the auction ended leaving HIM stuck as the winner.

Like I said, I'm happy with my bid, and $29 is hardly worth getting excited about anyway. It just looked like a new way to 'manipulate' the auction I hadn't seen before..
