My main motivation in paying an extra $8.00, was for me to express my interest in receiving the chip in a safe manner. I got peace of mind that the chip was in a secure mailer, with my correct address, and the seller got a little extra for their trouble. Ten dollars didn't break me, and even if the chip wasn't what I expected, I wouldn't have thought twice about it.

I don't believe the seller was a collector, as I went through their feedback, checking previous auctions, of which none were for casino chips or memorabilia.

As I said before, I don't feel as though I did anything wrong, but was interested in other's thoughts.
