I have been selling on Ebay for about 5 years now and I run into this problem time and time again. I to expect the item to be returned before I issue a refund. However in the case that I am at fault in some way or another, then I pay the return postage. I feel this is only fair. If I were you I would give feedback on how the "Whole" transaction goes. The seller really might have mad a mistake and not known it. See how it ends up before you decide.

I would ask for the return postage to be refunded also.
