Re: 1986 Computer Ad
In Response To: 1986 Computer Ad ()

Good times... Good times...

My first home personal computer was the Tandy Radio Shack Color Computer with 4k ram in the grey case. (When the 16k models came out and then 32k models, we thought we'd never would run out of space!)

In my Junior year of high-school back in 1982 we had a programming class (Winnetonka - Kansas City) and we had something like ten of the TRS-80 Model Computers and a single Apple IIe.

The next year, our school district (Noth Kansas City school district) had "computer vo-tech" for seniors and I signed up. We were bused out to Oak Park High School for 1/2 day and wrote program's on the School District's Sperry/Univac computer. Learned Fortran, Cobol, Assembler, RPG-II.

Been programming ever since. (Man do I need to get a life or what?) LOL.
