According to the Franklin Mint Reference book, three types of most tokens were made each year as follows: Mint (deliverd to the casino for use in machines) Proof Like (sold to collectors in sets) and Proof (given to casino executives).

The number of proofs in all most all cases are much less then either the Mint or Proof Like. An example for the Gold Strike Inn in 1967, 5,035 $1.00 tokens were made in Mint, 1,558 were made in Proof Like and only 501 were made in Proof!

In most cases, Proof coins are double struck and the portion of the token that does not have a design on it will have a mirror like finish.

The book only gives Issue Price of the individual tokens and not either the market value nor a set value.

Hope this info is of some help.

John
