Re: Can slabbed casino chips be GOOD for the hobby

Charlie; You know that I have not exactly been accused of not allowing my thoughts be known. Everyone knows where I stand... not only on the slabbing issue... but just about any other controversy that arises on this bulletin board.

In response to your post, I don't know that anyone has the answer to your question, "Can slabbed casino chips be GOOD for the hobby." However, let me say that in my opinion it can contribute no benefits to the hobby AS WE KMOW IT TODAY. When the chip graders and speculators get in and drive up chip prices as an investment rather than a hobby, I guess it will be GOOD FOR THEM.

I support Jim Reilly's campaign cry .... "Not in my hobby, not on his watch". NOW is the time to discourage the slabbers and attempt to convince them they are not welcome in our hobby.... and it has nothing to do with "The Pledge."
