That's called banning, Jim. <g>
We have the power to discourage (protest) slabbed
chips, but our club cannot stop any club member from
buyng any type of casino chip that is totally legal
to own under our constitution and by-laws....on the
convention floor, through the club magazine, or via
the club auction.
It's not a matter of askng "do not ban this" -- IT
CANNOT BE DONE UNDER THE PRESENT CONSTITUTION AND
BY-LAWS. It's a perfectly legal chip and no one in
our club can legally accost another member on the
convention floor into not buying a chip that is
legal to buy the way we are currently set up.
Please see Jim Steffner's post on the club bb where
he says if illected he will uphold te club constitution and by-laws. Shouldn't every candidate be saying this at this time?
Also see where I responded to Jim Reilly's post
telling him that noboy has the right to practice
what he wants in deciding what type of casino chips
are "good" or "bad" to collect on the club
convention floor.
