I will address a few of the points you made in your post.

First of all.........

I would say the figure is higher than that. More like 200+.........

Your 4000+ figure is wrong. There are right around 2,500 active members in the CC & CTGG as per membership officer Jim Steffner.

Lastly.........

I don't agree with that statement at all.............I feel one purpose of the Club should be to advance the hobby. Another is to try & look out for the welfare of it's members.............Andy - Las Vegas
