Its not that your being against slabbing is the knee jerk reaction. Its that people are jumping to the extremes. If people would stop the propaganda for a bit, and give some thought to the issue they might come up with a productive response.

If we are concerned that slabbing will become popular amongst collectors then maybe we should ourselves why? What about slabbing is it that you believe that it can catch on? Does it fill some need of collectors? If it does, what is that need and how else can we fill that need without resort to slabbing?

And If we are not concerned that slabbing will become popular, then what the heck is all the fuss about?

OH, and about the condition thing, I'm sure that most people can pick out the better conditioned chip between two different chips If given the opportunity to examine them both. But what if you can only see one of them?
