Actually his proposed ban had nothing to do with preventing dealers from promoting the practice of slabbing. However a ban designed to do that is something I could support. While I would be against a ban on selling slabbed chips, I would have no problem with the club making the decision to ban slabbing services from buying tables at the convention or advertising in the club magazine.
