Doug is partially correct (about the key ring unscrewing) but the chip is held in with an adhesive. It is a lot stronger on the current ones than it was on the earlier ones. If you try to muscle the bezel apart, you risk taking a little of the chip with it. I had good luck heating the glue in VERY hot water before trying to disassemble. Good luck
