Also, the majority of numbers are clustered between 1000 and 1100, with a few higher number outliers, such as the Bob Matthews 7011 chip above. That kind of supports the theory that these were numbers that Borland used to track something Borland related, rather than membership numbers to an exterior professional/trade/union organization.
