In my opinion, the biggest reason for the sudden demise of Primm/Jean casinos, as well as the gradual demise of Las Vegas casinos, is the exponential growth of Southern California casinos in the past 20 years.

Of course there are several other factors such as the Pandemic, gas prices, etc. but the excitement of hopping in your car and driving to Las Vegas certainly has lost that allure it once had..
