Twenty-Four years ago two friends and I co-founded a 501c3 called Locust Projects here in Miami, we have grown our budget every year since we were founded. It started with three volunteer directors. We eventually hired an Executive Director and they eventually hired staff. Along the way, we have assumed assets from other 501c3's. We are in our third location and on our third ED. We currently have 36 active Board Members that each pay yearly dues of $2000 and I've never seen or heard a sharp word spoken between any of them. They are there to support the organization's mission and have fun. None of them profit personally from the organization's programming. On our website you can find our current exhibitions, past exhibitions, and future exhibitions along with a ton of other information, resources, and opportunities that reinforce our mission.
