I would like, if possible, a civil discussion on the thoughts of expanding the current CCA Board of Directors from the 5 members to adding 5 or 6 additional Board members. There would still be the 5 officers, just additional board members. The MOGH, which is an educational division of the CCA, has 9 Board Members and 16 Advisory Board Members. I believe that more members would run for a directors position but not for a officers position on the Board. Additionally, I believe that some members will not run against a person they know, however, with 5 or 6 additional positions that wouldn't be an issue.
I am aware that the current constitution does not allow for this, however, if there is major interest perhaps a change in that would be in order.
Just trying to see other peoples opinions.
