Ok, having seen that, I'm more inclined to think it's real now grin

As I haven't directly explained why I doubted it, I will now.
Your original pic, and the one from the ebay auction made it look as though the edge was finished with grinder.
Small Key chips from 1955 were edge finished with a lathe. It invariably leaves parallel lines. You can see them on the roulette and the $5. Obviously the $25 is too worn to tell.
