~~~ neigborhood operation who has been ripping me off prior to Walmart setting up shop in town.

I no longer have to run all over town searching for fresh produce, dairy and baked goods... and not bother sifting thru the touched produce Publix, Winn-Dixie and Albertsons has been trying to pan off (the Loxahatchee Alberstsons shut down 2/14/10... right behind the West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Lake Worth stores... ). Several Winn-Dixie stores closed as well.

I'm not too sure about what all Walmart buys from other countries since I shop there for food products, only... and virtually all fresh produce and dairy is from local packing houses/farms within a few miles as are their dairy and eggs... The other supermarket chains tried doing the same but couldn't come anywhere near Walmart's prices... and there are more of them than Walmart stores, here, which tells me it has little to do with purchasing power, but rather being honest to their customers.

I'm very happy with them and bid them long life.

You can eat off the floor at any of my neighborhood Walmart stores; they're spotless. Can't say that for any other supermarkets in the area.
