I've had good luck purchasing cartridges on ebay rather than the $100+ per pop retail prices at Staples, Office Depot, etc. In fact on two occassions I was the winning bidder on used HP 2500 color laser printers that came with all four cartridges and imaging drum. One of the sellers was from North Jersey and I was able to pick it up at the seller's house and saved the shipping cost of this very heavy item. I could throw the printer away for the value of the four color cartridges alone and still be ahead of the game.
