If you are concerned about the price of ink-jet replacement cartridges, you might consider going with a laser all-in-one printer as the prices have really gotten inexpensive, even for a color model. The one possible downside of laser is the price of the replacement toner cartridges are typically more expensive than ink-jet but I have had one last me for well over a year in the past.
