I am not surprised that MGM would go after Westward HO, it sits on a lot of land, and right next to CC and Slots (also sharing a huge bit of land. If they are going to build it makes since to do on one big piece of property.

The Riv, Stardust, and Frontier are in the black as far as I know, have owners with their own agendas, and they don't seem to be part and parcel of the same property as the CC. While they may build anew themselves, I really doubt that the owners will be selling out to MGM.

It also occurs to me that MGM may wait a few since they are just starting their billion dollar city center. The CC may become city center 2.

BILL- I realize my post is general, I think I agree with your point. I think what you are saying is it was fun and you'd like to see themn hang around. I agree, they provide a different kind of experience then the fancy locations down the road. As I said in an earlier post, one of the best times I ever had was at the Slots of fun. JUst a different attitude.
