Jim; I'm sure there are several cases where slot player ACCUMULATE winnings that total more than $1200 over a period of play and that those TITO vouchers would not be treated the same as a single win.

However, I would think that a slot machine would "lock up" on a single jackpot payout of $1200 or more so that the necessary paperwork and accounting procedures would come into play so that Uncle Sam gets his share. I was in several A.C. casinos yesterday and last night and again witnessed no hand pays as I've been deliberately looking for them since my return from Las Vegas just out of curiosity.
