I have two questions about rule #10 of the Club code of ethics.
The code of ethics is at: http://www.ccgtcc.com/code_of_ethics.html
The rule #10 is:
To offer on all sales and trades, a 10-day return privilege on any item purchased or traded, unless I have clearly and conspicuously stated that items are sold or traded "as is," and without a return privilege.
My two questions;
(1) Does the rule only apply to transactions where BOTH PARTIES ARE CCGGCC MEMBERS?
(2) Does it mean that a CCGTCC-member seller has to accept returns (for any reason) on eBay auctions (assume that nothing in the description mentions returns)? (I would hope that the seller does not have to accept returns. If not, the rule should be amended. Also, it could be argued that the rules and customs of eBay don't allow returns for any reason, and thus provide the "as is" warning mentioned in rule #10. Also, I just realized, eBay is an auction, and the rule speaks only of "sales and trades.")
