Re: NO UPS DOES NOT insure collectibles "chips"!

OK then the claims Dept. and customer service don't agree. grin

I specificaly asked if they covered collectibles and antiques, including gaming chips. The answer was yes, with the usual provision as long as it was packed properly and that the coverage was for the original cost. (there's a slippery item)

Saw I buy a screwdriver for $1.50 and I sell it for $3.00. It's lost... I get back $1.50

Now with an antique, it's a little harder to prove the original value.

Looks like I'm going to have to find the email from UPS and post it. But I tend to believe that if you deal with them daily, that one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. As is the company line is yes and the claims dept says no?

Or maybe if the claim is for an "collectible gaming chip" not a "Casino Chip" it might fly.

Personally I have no argument with you. I hate it when the company line is unclear and they leave us guessing.
