Re: Question for any postal employee

UPS and Fed-Ex will insure the chips but in the event of a claim it will take a ton of proof and receipts to get the fair value of the chips if they are lost or damaged. You have to get through all their red tape and denials of improper packing, etc, etc. They are both self insured which means they have a license to steal in America today. They are not worth the hassle on collectible type items like chips or coins. They will tell you "NO", "NO", "NO", until you write to them and call the State Insurance Department to file a complaint. I live in NYC so I have seen the brunt of both companies when it comes to getting any insurance claim paid with them.

A USPS claim is another annoyance but you will be paid within 1-3 months after the correct paper work is filled and there are no phone calls talking to an outsourced position in some foreign Country where you can't even understand the claims representative who is talking to you.

Trust me.
