Rich i wroked for comair which was a connected to delta as a ramp worker. they pulled out of my city and never came back. midwest, united , delta all have job and pay cuts in the past. did you were last month delta forced its employes to take a 1 billion dollar paycut or they would have gone under and that scary that would have been some 30,000 jobs. united is headed in the same direction right now and so is american. united is getting hosed cause there hub is in chicago and the faa is grounding some 60 fights a day do to overcroweding(to many fights taking of causeing limited air space) and homeland sercurity at the chicago airport. I worked for the airline and new what went on? did you? the flights my have been full but its said for everyone thats full there are 5 that are not!and security at the airport is a joke! i was in kansas city and i guy had a pair of medical scissors and homeland found them and just let him walk onto the plane with them! that was a big no no. i had to call the sheriff over and tell in that i was u.s. marshall intearn to put the homeland guy in his place.
