If you had left your luggage in the room they probably couldn't have kicked you out.

I has one experience with Excaliber several years ago where I found a better rate than what I had on my reservation. They cancelled the reservation and gave me a new one at the better rate. Unfortunately their computer system supposedly does all of the cancellations at midnight and it ended up cancelling all of my reservations. After flying into town late on a Friday nite I found I had no room and there were none availble. I ended up spending one nite at San Remo (which was nice) and one nite at Motel 6 (which wasn't nice!). Since then I have always been very careful when changing my reservations.
