I can understand why Kevin doesnt clean them, alot of chippers dont. You have a good point too; being the chips in the scans should be the ones that are sent unless in equal or better condition, or unless specified in the auction. I can tell you from excperience that the chips you have will look a billion times better when cleaned. If you arent happy with them at that point, then replace them as you get ones in better condition and use them asd traders. Kevin is offering you the opportunity to return them if you arent satisfied with them.

He as a seller is also protecting huimelf by telling you if you clean them and dont like them you cant return them. What if you clean them with acetone and steelwool? I know thats a wild exageration, but you get the point.

My advice is this: keep the chips, clean the chips. You'll be surprised at how good they look after being cleaned.

Being that Kevin is a a club member, you should assume that he can be trusted at his word when he says that the chips in the scan were harvested at the same time and looked the same prior to being cleaned.
