You have some of the most reasonable prices around on new issues, Andy. But somebody has to pay for shipping. There is really no difference between charging $31 for a $25 chip, plus $1 postage, or charging $32 and including postage.
The problem with excessive shipping charges is that it tends to hide the true actual price. As long as the shipping charges are stated clearly, up front, an intellegent buyer ought to be able to do a little math and base the buying decision on the actual total cost, regardless of how it's broken down.
I prefer to avoid dealing with people who are deceptive in their advertising and marketing practices, however that deception is perpetrated.
