THE "TROOPER"

Pete: When I visited him in the early '80's he told me he was an investigator for the New York State Troopers (or he could have said, AG--it's been a long time--but he was an investigator). I saw his collection in the basement of his home. Thousands of chips. I didn't collect illegals at the time and took only a few C&S "BC" chips and a couple of others. The following year an Albany antique dealer and her husband had some for sale at a Liverpool, NY show. But I've lost track of them since then.
