Jim its not difficult at all once you a stop giving out tax payer dollars. The problem you now have is you have already said you are willing to take my money to give to some people and now the debate about who they are creeps in.

The simple fact is that the truly needy will not be deprived of aid in a Libertarian society. There is no and there has always been charitable organizations who aid the needy. The difference is that if Jim Reilly doesn't want to give money to people who could work or be supported by their families, then Jim Reilly would not donate to organizations that aided those people.

I read an interesting piece that said that raise money at 1/2 the cost of the government social services and that the Government manages to give out only half as much of what actually is raised when compared to private charities, and that private charities are twice as effective at weeding out those who are not truly needy. Therefore for every $1 given out by the government to the needy, private charity coiuld have given out $8.
