In NV the only obsolete chip is one that has had an ad run in the newspaper that gives a 120 day notice for cashing them in.

"This definition does not apply to Limited Edition chips that were never intended to be used on the tables. Some LE's are obsolete on the same day they are issued. I do not consider LE's current or obsolete, they are just LE's."

Not true, how can they be obsolete if they can be cashed in??????????????

"If you cannot get the chip at the cage, it is obsolete."
Not true unless the ad has been run.

If a casino ever refuses to cash a chip that no recall ad was run on, call gaming. The casino will cash it pretty quick.
