Postage fees need to be fair to all. A seller should not try to make up for a low starting bid that may be the only bid by jacking up the postage cost. Of course, if the buyer wants the chip insured, sent priority mail or UPS, then the postage should be high enough to cover the cost. I'll ship up to three chips in a bubble pack for $1.00 and four or more for $2.00. Some of my "New Issue Service" customers get upwards of thirty chips a month - shipped for $2.00 for all. Bidders who win multiple bids will certainly receive a break on postage. My advice, for what its worth, is to read the item description and/or contact the seller for clarification before placing a bid. I know that sellers who post high shipping prices sooner or later reduce them because they do not receive many bids.
