Hi Travis; I read somewhere that acetone will remove laquer on coins, but I don't know what effect it would have on a composition clay chip. I would suggest trying it on a junk chip first.... maybe one of the James Bond's... and see what the result is before attempting the same method on your Town Hall chips. Archie
