Hi Jim.....You've made some very good points as far as being cautious, and though I've only been a student of gambling chips for the last 10-years (did collect some tokens prior), I tend to put a great deal of my trust with those that have devoted their lives to the collecting, research, recording and photographing of gambling chips; and especially with those writers and publishers whom we all know and respect so well. You seem to have an awful amount of doubt regarding what is documented (printed) history from the "top contributors" in our hobby, and you have not really said too much to disprove this history. I know you mean well, Jim, but a certain amount of research needs to be presented by yourself to back up such doubt, and you have thus far not provided any. Though I rather not follow your drift into other casino gambling areas under this subject heading, I would very much enyoy talking about those areas perhaps under a more appropriate subject heading. I'd especially be very interested in learning any new information regarding the DOTS mold -- or any other mold, fot that matter.
