OK Bob, I think we are talking about the same thing. I do not toke up front. I make it known that I will take care of the cashier that will put out a little extra effort. As usual, I have a hard time writing what I am thinking.

In the last post, I think I made it sound like I was taking credit for the LE boom. I may have speeded it up a little, but it was going to happen sooner or later anyway. Here is the story on why there was so many chips at the Four Queens.

I had been trying to get the FQ's to issue LE's for over 8 years befor they finally did the 1st one for New Years 95. We did 1,000 of them and it was a nightmare on the day we issued them. We had no idea what we were doing. We needed advise.

In June 1995 I took the Vice President of the FQ's to the convention. We stopped at every table and talked to every dealer. Each and every one liked LE's. Remember, there were not many at the time. Our last stop was to see Archie. His responce was close to all the others. LE's are good but make enough so all collectors can get them. Minimum of 1500 to 2000. How about it Archie? Do you remember the conversation? I have an addictive personality, so when I started making LE's, I could not stop. I had been collecting for many years and loved adding one more chip to my collection. It was not long before the FQ's went bankrupt. The president credited the LE's with keeping the FQ's afloat for over a year. As usual, I am rambling on but I thought new chippers would like to hear the cause and reasons for the FQ's LE's. As usual I will not take the blame, I think its Archie's fault. I sure hope he don't read this.
