You are saying that the association should be a .org, not a .com. Back in 1994 when I first got into this business, I absolutely would’ve agreed with you. Back then, .com’s were commercial Enterprises, .net’s were network providers, and .orgs were nonprofits. You only had three choices back then, but there were no guard rails and you could choose to register any domain you wanted as long as you gave your $150 to verisign or whoever. What’s interesting about you bringing this up is that you’ve stated repeatedly that pokerchipper.com is not a for-profit venture, and I don’t doubt that. So why did you register your domain as a .com? Seems a bit hypocritical of you to claim to be on the same financial level as us but DENIGRATE our status without checking the mirror first.
