Re: My Thoughts on ChipGuide and CCA Membership

This post couldn't be any more timely for me, personally.
My membership number is 4940 and I'm not sure how long I've been a member - at least 20+ years.
But here I am again up for renewal in September, I believe, and I'm asking what value does the CAA bring me for $40?
I have never been to the convention and probably won't attend. I live on the East Coast and have other interests.

So, for me, I'm paying $40 a year for an advanced search on the Chip Guide that should be free to everyone.

I have no bone to pick with anyone but, do I really want to pay the money for that advanced search engine.
